Dedicated to his bicycle, ‘Bike Tracks’ features 2 tracks of proto-house rhythms straddling the parallel lines drawn in 1984 by early Dance pioneers like Alessandro Novaga and Jesse Saunders. ‘Bike Tracks (Dub)’ sees a more restrained approach to Lockah’s trademark brass stabs & bells, allowing the drums to take centre stage. Strictly for the deejays, ‘BMX Bonus Beats’ beefs them up even further with a cheeky nod to Chicago’s massively influential Hot Mix 5 radio shows.
